Paintings and Drawings
As an artist, I enjoy creating abstract as well as realistic art whenever I can. Often I choose to use various forms of media, such as a lamp shade to paint on, or adding things such as barbed wire, or other symbolic objects. Here is just a small sampling of my work.
Oil Paintings
All of the examples here are painted from freehand, with the exception of the Seattle Skyline on a lampshade.

Acrylic and Watercolor
The first three paintings featured here are part of a project I did, which included a twelve page essay, tracing the evolution of folklore from ancient Austria to modern times. While some, such as these, are done freehand, others are painted from live form.

Drawings
While many of my drawing work is done from live form, most are done freehand. The medium used to draw with, ranges from simple ink pen, to eraser on a bed of paper that has been completely covered in charcoal.
